Bethel Park junior Alyvia Sohyda won first place and earned the state title in the Intermediate 16+ solo category at the 2024 Pennsylvania State Twirling Championship competition, held at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Alyvia currently holds the 2023 World 2 Baton Title in beginner age 15 from the AYOP National competition that was held at Notre Dame University last July. She was also recently awarded a leadership position in next year’s BPHS Blackhawk Marching Band as one of the Head Majorettes.
