The Bethel Park School District has received three significant awards for excellence in communication in the 2024 PenSPRA Excellence in Education Communication Contest, which highlights school districts from across the commonwealth for their digital and print communication.

The Bethel Park High School Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 94 new members, including six seniors, 20 juniors, and 68 sophomores, at a ceremony held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, in the Bethel Park High School auditorium.

Bethel Park High School senior Sara Impellicceiri has been named the Bethel Park Rotary Club's March 2025 Student of the Month in recognition of her academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to inclusion initiatives.

In March, Bethel Park High School inducted its Alumni Hall of Fame Class of 2025, honoring five distinguished graduates whose accomplishments have significantly impacted their fields and communities.

This year's Bethel Park school picnic at Kennywood Park will be on Friday, June 20, 2025. Tickets are available for as low as $31.99 if purchased by June 6.

Seventy-five Bethel Park High School DECA members competed at the 2025 Pennsylvania DECA State Career Development Conference, held Feb. 18-21 in Hershey. Thirty-nine students were recognized on stage, with 16 qualifying for the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC), scheduled for April 25-30 in Orlando, Florida.

Bethel Park High School holds an AP Quarterly Champions celebration each quarter, sponsored by BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, to recognize students for their achievement, growth, and effort in AP courses. Students selected for the honor receive two Bean Bucks for free items at the school’s coffee shop and are celebrated for their success. Principal Joseph Villani emphasizes the importance of recognizing students' efforts, highlighting that those scoring a three or higher on an AP exam earn a graduation cord to showcase their college readiness.

Five Bethel Park High School students were named Extra Effort Award winners at the Steel Center for Career and Technology Education for the first semester of the 2024-25 school year. Seniors Gabriella Balkovec (Cosmetology) and Lily Janus (Veterinary Assistant) earned the honor for the second time. The award recognizes students for outstanding attitude, work ethic, attendance, and dependability.

Four Bethel Park High School students were named Top of the Shop winners at the Steel Center for Career and Technology Education for the first semester of the 2024-25 school year. Honorees include seniors Adam Lackey, Matthew Yee, and Violet Puskar, along with junior Casimir Spano. The award recognizes outstanding conduct, work ethic, attendance, and coursework proficiency.

Bethel Park senior Lyla Walsh was featured on ABC's "Good Morning America" to celebrate National Girl Scout Day. She earned the prestigious Girl Scout Gold Award for organizing a Girls in Engineering Camp that inspired young girls to explore engineering. Lyla’s achievement was highlighted alongside other impressive stories from girls across the country.
