Keystone Exam Information
As we approach the end of the academic year, we are preparing for the administration of the Pennsylvania Keystone Exams in the subjects of Algebra I, Literature (English 10), and Biology. These end-of-course assessments help evaluate student proficiency in core academic content areas and are a graduation requirement for many students.
Please review the following important information regarding testing/asynchronous dates, expectations, and schedules:

Any additional make-ups for Keystone Exams will occur during the regularly scheduled school days from Wednesday, May 14 to Friday, May 16.
Who Should Report to School:
Students enrolled in Algebra I or English 10 must report to school on Monday, May 12. Students currently enrolled in Biology must report to school on Tuesday, May 13. Students scheduled for make-up exams, retakes, or those with AP testing conflicts will receive individualized emails outlining their testing day(s). On the morning of testing, staff will be directing students to their testing locations in the front lobby. Teachers have access to testing room assignments to share with students in advance.
Free breakfast will be available in the cafeteria prior to testing. Students should bring a packed lunch or plan to purchase lunch in the cafeteria.Students must be on time - testing begins promptly at 7:35 AM.
Reminders/Technology Updates:
All Keystone Exams are administered online. BPHS will be holding an extended homeroom on May 7 to ensure updates. Students must bring a fully charged laptop and their charger. Students should be updating their laptops in advance. To prepare, students can access tutorials and practice using the DRC Online Keystone Platform.
Transportation:
Regular bus service will be provided to and from school.
Students attending Vocational Schools:
Students attending Vocational Schools:
If testing, they will be excused from vocational attendance. If not testing, transportation will be provided to and from vocational school as usual (pick-up/drop-off at their regular bus stop and the BPHS front entrance).
Asynchronous Instruction for Non-Testers:
Students who are not testing will participate in asynchronous learning from home on May 12 and/or May 13. Students must complete the Daily Attendance Form emailed each day. Failure to complete this form or any assigned work may result in an unexcused absence and a score of zero (0) for missed assignments. Teachers will provide assignments via Schoology or another designated platform.
