Students from the BP Connect Club embarked on an exciting field trip to Escape the Room Pittsburgh in November. Teamwork and problem-solving were the order of the day. The club, which fosters leadership development among students from Independence Middle School (IMS) and Bethel Park High School (BPHS), participated in the event.
Six groups of students were challenged to navigate through intricately designed escape rooms, each packed with clues, puzzles, and mysteries to solve. Every group completed their room, demonstrating exceptional collaboration and critical thinking skills.
The field trip provided a unique opportunity for club members to hone their communication and leadership abilities in a fun and immersive environment. BP Connect’s mission is to prepare students to become confident leaders, and activities like these perfectly complement their in-school development.
The students left with a sense of accomplishment, a stronger bond as a team, and plenty of great memories from the day.
