Seven Bethel Park High School student-musicians earned spots through competitive auditions to perform in the PMEA Honors Band concert at North Hills High School in November. Under the direction of band director Mr. Chad Thompson, Holly McGough (flute), Zoey Roberts (bassoon), Henry Cramer (trumpet), Brady McKiernan (horn), Ethan Alberter (trombone), Felix Kammerer (trombone), and Caleb Steele (euphonium) will perform under guest conductor Dr. Tonya Mitchell-Spradlin of Penn State University.
Additionally, violinist Adele Stamenov was selected for the PMEA District 1 Honors Orchestra, studying under orchestra teacher Mrs. Stephanie Glover. After a live audition, Adele will perform at Upper St. Clair High School, standing out among student-musicians from across Southwestern Pennsylvania.
