Dear Ninth Grade Students & Parents/Guardians:
On Tuesday, January 30, students in the BPHS Freshman class can tour the Steel Center for Career and Technical Education in Jefferson Hills. This optional tour is conducted yearly for all interested ninth graders to introduce them to the many programs Steel Center offers BPHS students. Members of the Freshman class who decide to participate in the tour will be excused from their fifth-period classes to get lunch. At approximately 11 a.m., the students will board their assigned buses and depart for Steel Center. BPHS Counselors/Administrators will accompany all students on the buses.
Transportation and tour times are as follows:
Tour Session -- January 30, 2024
Buses Depart BPHS: 11:15 a.m. (Athletic Entrance)
Arrive at Steel Center: 11:45 a.m.
Steel Center Tour: 11:45 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.
Depart Steel Center: 1:45 p.m.
Arrive back @ BPHS: 2:15 p.m.
Students interested in attending the Steel Center tour must complete the following Sign-Up Form AND have permission to attend from a parent/guardian. Parent/Guardian completion of the above form, with their email address on file with the school, will count as permission for their student to attend the tour. Permission may also be obtained through an email addressed to Mrs. Carroll ([email protected]).
